I am the managing editor at the Minnesota Historical Society Press/Borealis Books, which publishes on regional topics including history, travel, and cooking. When I’m not editing or reading, I enjoy baking, running, exploring new restaurants with girlfriends, and spending time with my husband and our two cats.

To learn more about my editorial approach, click over to this interview, made in 2010 by Stewart Woodman, aka Shefzilla, chef and author of the cookbook Shefzilla: Conquering Haute Cuisine at Home, for which I served as developmental editor and copyeditor. Stew interviews people who are passionate about what they do, and I certainly am that when it comes to the editorial process.
